LP Stitch: Polish Folk Art

This is the last of several posts commemorating my time in Poland five years ago. I recently wrote about how the experience changed me, as well as rehashing my musical memories from the trip in comic form. My latest LP Stitch is a reproduction of a typical Polish folk art pattern. I’ve always loved that aesthetic and wanted to combine it with my cross-stitch excursions.

I’ll admit, after my previous two, highly-ambitious projects – a vintage belly dance postcard trio and a series of Kaffe Fassett fabric swatches – this scaled-down, quick project was a welcome change. Currently, I’m having to put my cross-stitch on hold while I finish my e-book for my other site, Gig-Ready Jazz Bassist. I’m hoping, however, that when I resume, my next project will be especially epic.
